| The Final Day of IB Proj |

today was ther final day of thiswhole project thing and today was a laid back day because we had already pretty much finished with the wholedvd and what we had to do today was watch throught the movie and see if it was smppth and edit a couple poces up and then we added cloing credits and music to the piece. After this i was finished and our "task manager" kendra was in charge of burning the dvd and takin care of wrapong it up and at this point i dont kno if anything has been accomplished since i stopped working at 10...but as for the dvd i am extremly proud of it and the work is goood and i hope every1 enjoys the IB senior proj dvd |

| Day Nine WE DONE!! |

Today i finished up the last of the editing of the film with mike scipioni. i did most of it but when his expertise was needed i called upon him fir help..WE tied everything in and then when the movie was ultimatly how we wnated it tony and i went through and added the music and sound effect thta fit in with the clips. Basically today was a laid back day because we all know that we are coming to an end with the whole school thing and our movie was pretty much wrapped up and done.
I feel confident that the teachers and other students will enjoy our movie and they will find it informative while at the same time enjoyable....and at the beginging of this whole thing that is what we as a IB movie group wanted to accomplish..and we our proud of our product. |

| Day Eight |

Today was a basic day i finished up my PIG work and then tony and i came down to occhinos to see what was up with the project. We came down and filmed a scene for junior year intro done by the fabulous missy woods. She discussed time management etc.. but after this we filmed a scene that discussed the on going battle between physics and bio. It was a parody of a Rocky film.
We added this all to our movie and edited the junior year so that is complete and seniro yr is also complete and tomm we need to finish both freshman and sophomore year. These two year should not tak long because they are basically all edited except for some transitions and such.. but today was succusfeul |

| Day Seven IB Project |

Today was a day in which i personally accomplished alot. Early this morning in homebase i did work on editing one scence that involves a slow motion sequence with missy in the hall way between classes. After i finished this i went to the library and finnished my PIG work and was able to write two letters to do with domestic and foreign policies to our senators and to a congressmen. I also was able to finnish up two essays that i started yesterday.
Then after this i worked on a computer program for mr hathaway. after all this class work i came back to occhinos to work on our movie and discuss what we have left to accomplish and to edit a little bit more and smooth out transitions. |

| THE OMEN 6th day |

Today was a fairly easy day because no filming was done, however it was extremely stressful
and tedious because editing is that way. We edited a lot of footage and everything seems to
be piecing together quite nicely. I have the idea that we will finish by Thursday afternoon
if everything stays on track.
Today I also worked on some PIG work that involved writing an essay and worked on a little
portion of my computer program.
Today was fairly laid back and we edited a lot but I feel more work is needed by a whole
group still but I am comfortable with our progress. |

| FIF DAY OF IB PROJ |

Today was propably the most interesting of days of our project as well as the one filled with the most conflict. We filmed a few scenes outside of school on the grounds. Kendra and Michelle filmed scenes that had to do with science during our sophomore year and when they were doing this Tony, Jerome, and I took the other camara and filmed scenes on the other side of school invilving IB students in athletics and also with the advantages of IB dealing with exposure to higher culture activities such as field trips to plays and musicals. After we discussed the benifits of this and filmed these scenes we went back to Mr. occhinos where we were verbally assulted by Kendra and Michelle. They felt that we left them alone and they couldnt go on and work without us. They told us that they had no idea where we were (altohugh we told them we were filming outside) and that we abonded the group although during this time we were completing scenes we needed to do.
After some talking they relized that they went overboard and we came to an agreement that better communication on THEIR part was needed. After this we ate lunch and when we were done KEndra asked us to upload and edit the footage both we and them shot today. We did as we were told to avoid a conflict but us three felt taken advantage of. We feel that a total group effotrt is needed and they need to act like mature adults and STEP THEIR GAME UP.
Communication is oh so important to group activities and today we found this out....the HARD WAY!!!!!!!! |

| 4th DAY! |

Today was also an extremely productive day, as a group we have begun to gel and we all work together very well. The amount of dedication that each individual is displaying is great and I feel that with this dedication the project should be a cinch.
We filmed three scenes today. Two were interviews with the sophomore class and they answered questions dealing with dealing with their transition from freshman to sophomore year and they gave tips on how to do with the pressures and what to expect for students that will be coming into that year. We also filmed a scene that had to deal with the introduction to senior year. This explains the big ideas of what occurs during senior year and what to expect.
After this Tony and I edited most of the film and the scenes that we filmed today. We added effects and music to clips to make them flow and to be comical in some places. We showed our group members what we have so far and they feel that we are on track and that our editing is good. We discussed Monday’s plans and we need to film skits for freshman and sophomore year as well as the intro to our junior year. |

| THIRD IB PROJ DAY |

Today was so far the most productive of the IB project experience. Today was based solely on the “IB Life” DVD. We as a group accomplished so much and I was proud of our group. Earlier in the day when some of the members of our group were at the foundation school, Tony and I filmed a lot of footage dealing with the different actions of students during passing time, class, and during their individual free time during school. We compared the differences between the “regular” students and the IB students.
When the rest of the students in are group arrived we began to get down to work. We filmed five good scenes dealing with an intro to freshman year and what to expect, to the English internal assessment and test taking. Once we imported this footage I was able to use my knowledge of editing to add special effects, music, and transitions to the clips. With this work completed today we stand in excellent shape to come to a finish and have a good product by the time or school is over and at this point I feel the product will be very good and yesterday at this same time I didn’t feel the same way.

| DAY TWO IB PROJECT |

On this our second day of the IB project, i was able to maintain focus and complete tasks that i had set forth. I came down to Mr. Occhinos room early in homebase and then got right to work and was trying to figure out what i truly wanted to accomplish with this whole project. Yesterday i spoke of the DVD being split into two factions both a "funny" group and a documentary type movie. I said that i was going to work with the comedey group but today i decided to join the group that has more of a focus and began to work with them. We brokeground on filming ghe intro and i helped Lenora and Kendra and showed them how to edit the film as well as how to add voice overs to the footage.
This took about three quarters of the day and then afte this our song is being finalized and we were able to breakground on our final beat and lyrics will be written tommarrow, along with that i will help film,act and edit the scenes for the DVD |

| First Day of IB Project |

Today was the first day of our IB senior project and today we accomplished a few tasks that were key to breaking ground on both the "IB Life" dvd and the IB song that I will be part of for the complete project.
Today in homebase I checked in and then went down to Mr. Occhinos room to begin planning for the DVD, during this we as a group found that their were two different ideological points and we decided to split the DVD project into two different types. Later in the day, the one group decided on a more documentary and infomercial type movie and my group decided to take a comical viewpoint and we wanted to make a parody on the "IB" lifestyle. Mr. Occhino agreed upon this idea and as a group we discussed heavily what we want to accomplish and what goals and ideas we want to express through are film. We decided to as a group pool ideas and then come up with a loose planning of what we were going to accomplish tommarrow.
Then after lunch Mike, Colin and I decided to work on our song and we broke ground on creating a beat and we were able to use Mr. Occhinos laptops to work on this project. We had the loose beats and we decided to wrtie lyrics tomm in school.
Today was a difficult day to stay on task and tommarrow i feel that more focus is needed to stay on task. |
